ATLANTA -- Two Armenian wrestlers charged with shoplifting from a department store were freed from jail at the request of an Atlanta Olympics official, then left the country, a judge said Wednesday.

ATLANTA (AP) _ A new coalition of four industry associations and nine companies on Tuesday called for revamping of standards in the federal fund used to clean up hazardous waste sites.

The Georgia Sound Off on Superfund (S.O.S.) said the Superfund, the 15-year-old program that uses corporate taxes and fines to fund cleanups, should be reformed because it wastes millions on administrative and litigation costs.
