Ali is a single, 46-year-old male looking for clean, quiet home in LA, preferably in a guesthouse or other semi-private arrangement and within 3 miles of the ocean.
I am courteous, honest, responsible, and discreet and always hope for the same in others.
I am allergic to cats and dogs. I cannot live in any space where cats or dogs are living or have lived in the past.
Moved here from Iran in 1979. Education in journalism (BA), political science (MA), and an MBA in e-commerce.
I have excellent credit and references.
I am experienced in internet marketing and management of rental properties. Right now I am helping manage three short-term rental units in Marina del Rey, on the property I currently live at. The owners will be back from overseas Sept 30th, hence my need to find a new home.
I also manage and market via the internet a total of eight properties outside CA for friends and family. In addition, I’m a free-lance writer, photographer and web developer and run a couple of online businesses. I am about to open a new online store and I am working on creating other automated, employee-run businesses to allow me the time to concentrate on things I cherish - travel, writing, studying foreign cultures and languages.
No smoking, drugs or heavy drinking and want the same with people I live with. I believe in living small, within one’s means and debt-free. I am liberal and spiritual. “Live and let live,” is my motto. I thrive around people who seek mental and emotional clarity. I spend my resources on education and travel. A quiet patch of grass in the backyard where I can meditate impresses me far more than toys and luxury. Things that are currently helping maintain my serenity: reliance on my higher power, Buddhism, Al-Anon, exercise, and frequent visits to the beach.
