Naghsh-i Jahan Square

Naghsh-i Jahan Square (also spelled Naghsh-e Jahan or Naghsh-e Jahan Maydan), also known as “shah” or “imam” square (maidan or maydan in Persian, pronounced may-DON), situated at the center of Isfahan city, Iran, is the one of largest sity squares in the world. It is an important historical site and one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
