Jame Mosque

Also known as Isfahan’s Friday Mosque or the Great Mosque of Isfahan (Persian: Masjed-e Jame, pronounced JAW-meh) is a mosque and series of associated buildings in Isfahan, Iran. It was built by the Seljuq sultans in the 11th Century. It is one the most important old mosques in Iran because it is showsplace for so many different styles of Persian architecture. Over the centuries, various dynasties added to and modified its structure and decorations.
